Week 6 was fantastic, and I think the new plan of 4 workouts and less of the 5am starts has made a difference not only with my training but generally with my day to day life!
I’ve just spent this morning also entering into two new runs! The Beast in the East and Grim Original 2011! These being in May and Dec 2011, so a few fun runs to keep me training after the marathon!
Last week I decided I wanted to maybe join a running club to help me somewhat improve my running! I’ve decided to go along to a run with the Datchet Dashers and see how I got on, I’m extremely nervous about this, but at the same time excited. They run on Tuesdays and Thursday with the first run being focused on technique and the second a long distance run ranging from 4-10 miles. Fingers crossed!

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Run with Datchet Dashers
Wednesday: 10k
Thursday: Run with Datchet Dashers
Friday: PT
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Long distance run 16 – 17 miles
I am excited about my long run this week after yesterdays run! J Training for the London marathon is an unbelievable experience, and I know running it will also be so!
